About
Favio Moreno is a Dallas-based artist whose work reflects his diverse, multicultural upbringing across California, Mexico, and Texas. His unique visual language draws from both Latin and American cultures, blending elements of iconography and contemporary design. A key focus of his work is exploring the commonalities between these cultures, emphasizing shared experiences and universal themes that resonate across borders.
Moreno graduated from The Art Institute in 2001, launching his career in the arts. After spending time working and living outside of Texas, he returned to North Texas, where he now focuses on painting, printmaking, and design. His artistic practice is characterized by hard-edge painting, with a refined sense of color that makes his works visually distinctive.
In 2021, Moreno held a solo exhibition at Plush Gallery in Dallas, Texas, further solidifying his presence in the local art scene. His work continues to resonate with audiences, capturing the energy of contemporary design and cultural narratives while highlighting the connections between different cultural identities.
